  Great team, suitable for all ranks and fun! I started training BJJ at Cruvinel this year with almost no martial arts experience. Coaches and higher ranks took time to ensure I’m learning basic technique. The advanced technique you witness makes you work harder for your own progress. And between the two locations, the schedule is best in class to permit this. I hope this review finds someone that is on the fence, like others that helped me. I can confidently say CB earned every 5-star review here!

  A 5 star place to train in southern Connecticut. Multiple high level black belt instructors who are patient and detailed. This is a friendly and helpful environment with a wide array of training partners of all sizes, age, skill level, and gender. Also a great place to get in shape and learn self defense and competitive martial arts. The school has an amazing kids program as well. Martial arts is great for children to learn discipline and respect. Whether you’re just starting, or coming back from a break, I highly recommend training here.

  The school and its instructors go above and beyond to create a safe, inclusive, fun and challenging environment where jiu jitsu hobbyists and competitors can both thrive. Class schedule is very accommodating having classes mornings, afternoons and nights and different locations. Proud to be a student here.

  I love it here. High level instruction that is also accessible. The brothers are extremely friendly and when its time to train, work hard with you. Good mix of people who are training to compete and also just training as a sport. Great variety of class times. Perfect for your first time or grapplers looking for solid training. Can’t say enough good things.
