  I had my bone density test Aug 4th and am I was flabbergasted to learn I am 1/2" taller, now 5'8"!!! I made the radiology technician re-measure three times. She said stretching (Pilates!) will do that. Craaaazy?!?!?
  
  I'll be 63 next month, and I'm delighted and feeling so good! I've been a client of Lorena at the Core Burn Rowayton location for two years, and the Rye location since 2017. I recall Lorena kept her eye on my posture and reminders to keep 'shoulders back'!

  As former professional dancer/educator, CORE Pilates is the BEST around. They are focused on proper placement, strengthening from within and always paying attention to each clients needs in a very detailed manner. It is personalized and I feel amazing! Lorena, Liz and Barbara are top notch! CORE Pilates is a warm and welcoming gem in Rowayton!

  I'm 70 years old. Since my early 40's I have lived with minor pain on a daily basis. Not bad pain, just twinges and aches in my lower back with the occasional bout that would put me out of commission for a period of time. I started going to work with Lorena three months ago, twice a week. I am now pain free most all the time and I feel, quite literally, as if I am 35 years old. HSS has a mantra, "You are how you move". It is so true. I play paddle, tennis and am very active. Thank you, Lorena.

  Beautiful waterfront location, excellent training. I have been taking Pilates for a few years, this is one of the best I have found across the country. Highly recommend Lorena!

  This is an exceptional place to train and get healthier. I don’t often write reviews, but this place is worth it. Lorena is very good! That is to say she is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and effective. She provides a serious, personalized workout. I recommend it for anyone that wants to feel better tomorrow, then they did today!
