  Dr Ostrom has helped me with issues in the past/present and I wouldn’t trust my eyes to anyone else! He is quick to diagnose and have a plan to fix the problem. If I have an emergency when he is closed he returns my call promptly, is able to come up with a plan and will fit me in right away when he reopens.
  Fittings for contacts went smoothly with perfect sight along with glasses. The staff is wonderful as well. Would highly recommend them, he’s the best!!!

  I just walked out of my appointment at Dr. O’s about 15 minutes ago and every time I leave that office I rave about Dr. O and send everyone his way. Every time I’m in there, I ask about 100 questions too many, and Dr. O kindly (and patiently) answers every single one of them- and thoroughly. How nice is that feeling of relief and confidence knowing when you see your doctor, you can trust your health in their hands. Since I first met Ostrom, any time I’m in that office, my vision health is always Ostrom’s priority. He listens to my concerns and addresses them individually, and explains along the way- that’s what I look for in a medical provider.
  I have very little time for doctors appointments, so when I make them, I need to know I’m getting the proper assessments, testing, diagnosis and treatments. Additionally, he is very clear in his communications- example: if I need to come back within certain amounts of time to keep an eye on certain areas of potential concern… he explain what he’s looking for, what we’re hoping for, and what that appointment will be able to tell us- so I do make those appointments and follow through on them because I have that valuable understanding of what he’s doing and why and how it directly affects my well being- I also understand the importance of timing, checking in for assessment etc. so if and when something is wrong, Ostrom can promptly and effectively treat the issue.
  That is something I respect- be mindful of not overlooking these qualities in your doctors- maybe you’ve been luckier than I in my past… but far too often doctors forget a patient’s individual case, fail to keep an eye on progress and/or regression, and before you know it you’ve got a huge problem. Trust me, I’ve been there- and I won’t go to anyone else other than Ostrom.
  
  BONUS! Additionally, they’re so good to me over there- I can’t tell you how many times my small child has stepped on, rolled on, jumped on my glasses and they end up side-ways, bent and un-even. He readjusts and fixes them every time. This also includes my favorite sunglasses (that I didn’t even purchase at his office so really I maybe shouldn’t have even asked) BUT I love them so much and I was convinced they weren’t fixable and I was crushed (no pun intended)- but figured if anyone can fix them it would be Ostroms’s office. So I brought them in with me to my last appointment (not today) and asked Dr. O, “is there any way you guys can fix these?” He took them from me, brought them somewhere and some magician in the office brought them back to life. My sunnies were waiting for me good as new at the front desk- same day, same time- and to this day I’m so thankful because those sunnies were a splurge and that was a huge favor and kind gesture ontop of everything else.
  
  Lastly… I recently called the office because I was concerned about an issue I was having- the front desk took a note and said they’d have Ostrom call me back if he was concerned- within a few hours, low and behold, Ostroms calling me and proceeded to spend 20 minutes investigating my concerns and as always giving me feedback and educated directive to start doing that day so I could be proactive before my scheduled upcoming appointment in Feb (today) to see if I had any relief between then and now.
  
  Of course the issue has reduced greatly, his directive was indeed correct, and today he gave me another solution I can try to see if nips and remaining discomfort in the bud.
  
  Dr. Ostrom is the best. I could go on forever but we’d be here all day and this review is too long as is- but lastly and most importantly… Dr. Ostrom also noticed and referred my daughter out for what has been diagnosed as vision disability, to which she needs a 504 plan at school. This vision issue was completely missed by a pediatric optometrist out of Yale not long before I brought her to Ostrom) - that diagnosis for my daughter was life changing and I will forever be grateful for and the biggest fan of Ostrom.
