This guy is a wealth of knowledge in the field of medicine and martial arts to say the least.
My daughter been training here for 3 weeks and she loves it very happy with what she been learning thanks to Shifu Steve
My name is Jonathan Bluestein, and I am the head of a martial arts organization, the author of 10 books, and a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Shifu Steve has been my teacher for many years now. He is one of the kindest, smartest, most educated and skilled people I have ever known. After many decades spent running successful private Chinese Medicine clinics and working as a Professor at the University of Bridgeport, Shifu Steve is finally back working full-time at the thing he loves most: martial arts. Anyone would be hard-pressed to find such an accomplished individual ready and willing to teach the general public, making himself accessible to everyone, including children, the mentally-handicapped and the disabled. The zeal and enthusiasm he brings to classes is exhilarating. I also admire that way in which he can cater for all level, from complete beginners to very experienced teachers. Take my word on it - checking this man out would be a very wise investment of your time.
I've been training under Sensei/Shifu Steve since I was 8. He is a great teacher, and very knowledgeable with the skills and toughness to prove it. One of the few teachers around who teaches the entire Judo curriculum, including leg grabs and groundwork. Recently began learning karate and internal/external forms of kung-fu with him as well. Highly recommend for anyone interested in the martial arts, child or adult, hobbyist or athlete.
