  Clean facility/ good staff. Sam was especially excellent today on Easter caring for both my mother and grandmother That needed simultaneously.

  Dorthy is such an amazing nurse I’d say the best nurse in the whole place . She’s always on time with my medication she gets me everything I need she’s is so sweet, caring, kind hearted and respectful. . I got a second spinal surgery and I was so depressed come to find out I needed another one after a serious car collision I got into in 2019 as soon as I arrived from day she said to me “who’s this pretty young lady” . I’ve never felt so cared about in the hospital. All the aids are wonderful and so caring I’m only 21 and I’d say because of all my surgeries this place is better than Gaylord hospital in Wallingford but only when Dorthy the nurse is working in my opinion she makes my days better . Thank you Dorthy for welcoming me and taking such amazing care of me you work doubles ! And you do an amazing job I don’t know how you do it but thank you .

  Recently, had my loved one stay at Cheshire Regional after a brief illness. Even during this difficult time (Covid) They treated my mother with dignity and respect. The aides are working very hard and the food was presented well and tasty per mom. They involved her in her care planning and made sure she came to the social distancing events. Root Beer floats every Wednesday was her favorite. I would recommend this facility hands down.

  My aunt has been here for a number of years. She really enjoys living at this facility. The nursing staff is exceptional; they truly care about her and her well being.
  
  While I'm sure not every resident will agree with her - as tastes and expectations vary widely - my aunt also really likes the food they serve her.
  
  While no place is perfect -- including this one -- the quality and the empathy of the staff makes it a pleasant place to be.
