  We had a children's birthday here at the nature center for a kid that absolutely loves animals. The center is fun, With a number of interesting exhibits and live animals to see. I cannot speak highly enough about the staff that conducted the live animal demonstration. Ian Salisbury was absolutely wonderful. He loves the animals in his care and took careful time with the kids (and birthday boy in particular) to share this love and passion. I highly recommend the nature center as a birthday location for any kid that loves animals as much as mine does.

  First and foremost, no dogs! The Nature Center is full of taxidermy, small reptiles and insects as well as interactive stations for kids. My son loves to explore the center before we head out on the trails. Trails are partial boardwalk then actual trails that lead to the reservoir. You can walk through in about an hour depending on how often you stop. There is no shortage of birds, flowers and plants. Perfect for birdwatching or just being in nature. There is a small playground and some picnic tables off the parking lot as well. One of my favorite places to visit.

  We loved this place! We went for the annual Gem Crystal Show. Which was amazing! They had so many varieties and different vendors. Plus there was so many cool things for kids to do. I'd love to go back and checkout the place. They had exhibits of different species of birds and butterflies that were once alive. It was a really cool place to hike some trails and birdwatch.

  Wow this was a great find, enjoyed our
  Visit with my toddler a lot! Nice paths, bird watching, butterfly garden, play area with sandbox, and a great nature center with cozy library and real snakes. Definitely will come back for the Lenape Village opening. The only thing i would add is a swing in the children’s area.

  Serenity is a good word... It is a preserve, so it is kept really well and you can see nature at its best. There are a few areas - the Indian village which was closed(blame Covid), the bird watching area - one can find some pretty cool photo ops here, the board walk, the trails, the garden, which is phenomenal and the plant sale! I love this place for an afternoon stroll, enjoy the beautiful lake views and take in nature as best as you can! Highly recommend!
