(May 1, 2023, 6:24 pm)I'm not one to believe in supernatural stuff, but the energy of this church seemed really powerful- I mean, two people's tables literally flipped over at one point! The building itself is very pretty, but smaller than I expected when I went inside. Unsurprisingly, they have a community board if you're looking for any opportunities/peoples, and a lovely little stage! The space in this church is perfect for hosting events- celebrations, theater nights, or even markets wink wink!

It's great to have a sense of community with the congregation during unsettling times. The church has many events for people of all ages and does great work to help those in the community who are in need.

(December 14, 2021, 2:06 pm)My husband and I were married at Church of the Messiah 30 years ago, when we moved to Upper Gwynedd. We raised three daughters here. I especially appreciate the love and support of this community, the church "family", through the years of life, loss, family deaths, new life and growth, and spiritual exploration. With a traditional Episcopal service, in a judgemental atmosphere each individual travels their own journey; then we meet in a beautiful space to worship together. Beautiful natural surroundings meet challenging modern ideas at Messiah Church.

Wonderful services, sermons and fellowship. Please come and join us -- especially as we approach the Christmas season. It's a glorious place -- and the music programs are wonderful!

(December 14, 2021, 10:47 am)Looking for warm welcoming community to get closer to God, try Church of the Messiah. As a Catholic looking for a new home I found COM a warm and welcoming place. I probably know more people's names and stories in the 3 years that I have been a member than I did in the 20 + years at my previous church. I have volunteered in different ways and feel like YOU can make an impact here. Pastor Keith always provides great insight and he cares about this community. Check us out in any given Sunday, you will not be disappointed.

In 1861, with no Episcopal church located this far from the city, services for summer visitors were held in the local home of Rodolphus Kent. Growth of these services prompted a group of summer residents to hold an organizational meeting in December of 1866; the name 'Church of the Messiah' reflects the fact that the parish was born in the same month as the Church celebrates Christ's birth.
