(May 25, 2018, 11:22 am)It is a serene beauty all around the Chinmaya Saraswati Ashram, nestled in the quiet woods, but very close to the Merritt Parkway. The sun shines through the large windows throughout the ashram; its Devi mandir is resplendent with the divine presence through the light and sounds of the daily prayers and Hindu celebrations. It's the only mandir in the area with deities sanctified by Prana Prathishta with the guidance of the guru parampara of Chinmaya Mission. It has a welcoming and divine ambiance reminding us of the great temples and ashrams of India.
