Super, well maintained trail. Flat enough for our older folks but a good run, walk or bike workout can be had. 3.3 miles one way.
This is a nice place to take a walk, there's a long asphalt path that runs a long Chester Creek. There are grassy areas that you can leave the pave trail and walk along. There's little to no access to the creek itself, and lots of heavy equipment and construction companies on the other side of the creek. There are also parks and other businesses that take away some of the beauty of the nature, but after rainy day it's not muddy and you can still enjoy the outdoors as well as have a seat in the bench and just look at birds.
This is very nice and beautiful trail in Delaware county. It’s about 2.8 mi long. For trail itself I would give 5 out of 5. There’s some benches along trail, but no porta potties. Need more parking spaces. Thanks for local resident Mike Fusco and others now we have this wonderful trail.
This trail offers a safe place for people to enjoy a stroll along the creek. Family and pet friendly. Drop stations to ensure pet waste is disposed of properly. Ample space for walkers, joggers and bikers to get your exercise on while enjoying the sounds and beauty of nature. Paved from beginning to end with mile markers. Several parking spots at various points of the trail. Benches are available if you need a break. Even has a bike repair station. Air pump not working during my visit, but still very thoughtful for trail makers to put up.
Biked this trail today and really enjoyed it. As others have stated, it needs more parking. The trail is fairly flat so I definitely plan to bring the kids here to ride. It would be great to see this trail extended throughout Del-Co, maybe even connected to a train station or other trails. Biking here is difficult due to the curvy, hilly roads upon which people drive too fast. This trail does connect to Middletown Starch Mill trail, next time I will have to hike the trail so I can check it out.
