(May 24, 2023, 4:24 pm)I referred a client and their partner to Cheryl for couples work. She was quickly and effectively able to hone in and accurately assess the couple in a way that I was unable. Cheryl’s skills are hard to describe, but I would say she’s incredibly in tune with the clients and extremely detail oriented. Her recommendations are spot on and she presents them in a digestible way…She’s not afraid to say what she sees and quickly earns the trust of those she works with. I highly recommend her if you are looking to jump right in and get some clear direction and insight!

Cheryl cares deeply about her clients - this is not a job for her, it is a calling. She is willing to collaborate seamlessly with family and other providers when appropriate. And if something isn't working, she tries something new. She never gives up. I would recommend her to anybody.

(May 21, 2023, 12:50 am)I have known Cheryl for several years, both personally and professionally. She has always been a source of deep insight and comfort during some of my most trying times. She has a unique way of helping me to frame my struggles so that I can approach them with a growth mindset, which I have always found to be very empowering. Her nurturing presence and attentiveness is a soothing salve for the soul. Listening to her wise words in her soft, yet strong cadence puts me at such ease. Cheryl has helped me to grow both personally and professionally in ways I couldn't possibly explain. She believed in me before I believed in myself and she was a driving force in building my confidence to begin my business.
Recently I had a client who was hospitalized for mental illness, and the clients family did not believe she was receiving the proper care or diagnosis. Cheryl made herself available on immediate notice, took plenty of time to fully understand the situation, and give a proper diagnosis so that appropriate care could be sought out. As I had the privilege of in sitting in on the consultation (as per the clients request), I was able to witness Cheryl in her process and I was thoroughly impressed. She was able to identify key components that had been overlooked in this clients treatment and care and give precise recommendations on how to quickly remedy the situation. As a professional in the mental health field, she had an understanding of the players, the processes, and the potential roadblocks the client would need to consider and was able to advise the best path forward. It was quite clear to me that Cheryl works from an extremely high level of ethics, understanding, intelligence and competence compared to others in her field. She is way more than a talk therapist. She is results-driven and instills hope in her clients who have real struggles. Her approach is not passive as I have seen with other therapist in my personal experience, rather she has real intuitive and practical insights that take her work to a much higher level than one might experience with traditional therapists. With all of this being said, I cannot recommend Cheryl enough! Her heart is in her work and with her patients and she sees them through to the other side. She is what we need more of in this field!
