(February 18, 2014, 11:20 am)Cheryl Scott Daniels was outstanding in all ways in enabling my aging parents to sell their home of over 50 years very quickly for an excellent price. Given my parents' limitations and the remote distance of me and ultimately my parents, Cheryl had to go above and beyond to get this house sold. From getting the house ready to market, contracts agreed upon and signed, inspection issues addressed to the countless closing items required, including some last minute items from the buyers' financing, Cheryl was the incredible force behind coordinating and communicating across multiple parties. For example, she helped hire contractors to do work, and after approval, arranged to get them into the house and provided invoices, photos and certificates of completion. She was always accessible and willing to explain when we had questions. Another example is how she anticipated what was needed to sell the property, so that when my parents left CT prior to listing the house, everything was in order and there were no surprises.
Most valuable was her expertise. She provided outstanding input and recommendations throughout the process. Through the range of negotiations and decisions to be made, Cheryl always provided the information and options needed so we felt confident the right course was taken. I valued her input so much that there were occasions I sought her recommendations where others were responsible.
Cheryl made a very complex process seamless for me and my parents. She was able to work effectively with elderly parents who had not sold a property in 50 years and a child who had sold / bought multiple properties in other states. Beyond her expertise and professionalism, Cheryl was always extremely trustworthy and a joy to work with.
My parents and I highly recommend Cheryl to anyone buying or selling a home in the area; we would gladly be a reference and will refer any friends!
