Although it is not a dine-in restaurant, which is why I did not give a star for atmosphere, the food was very good. Large portions and authentic flavor. The woman who answered the phone was sweet and accommodating. I will definitely return!
So glad my brother and I stumbled upon this place! We both ordered the jerk chicken which was super spicy - it was delicious but definitely be prepared for some heat 🔥 One customer overheard that it was our first time there and bought us a Jamaican soda, and the owners sent out some ox tail for us to try 🥹 It was amazing and definitely what we’ll be ordering next time.
Everyone was so friendly and wanted to make sure we got the full experience since we had never been there before! Highly recommend.
Fantastic food. Had some spicy chicken with Mac n cheese and yams and it was delicious. The service was great and felt very wholesome and welcoming. If you come here, you absolutely will not regret it. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I visited with my sister but I’m glad we came! Will definitely revisit soon.
I was greeted very kindly at the window. No offense to my own mother... but this was the best jerk chicken I've had. Had a platter of some rice and beans, plantains, and collard greens. Man, I have not tasted soul food that good in a LONG while. I will say, I thought I could handle spicy, but this was real spicy lol. If i'm back in the area, I'm definitely coming back. I could tell this was made from the love of Caribbean culture
My wife and I were finishing a morning appointment and wanted something quick and easy but different; this was exactly what we hoped.
We ordered Jerk Chicken and Ox Tail, included white rice and plantains; the food was served fresh, to order, tasted phenomenal , and the portion was dead on enough to leave left-overs for the next day.
The owner and son were very polite.
I’d highly recommend not letting the modest location and building deter you from enjoying the food if you have the chance.
We are planning a trip back even though it’s 90 minutes one way from our home.
