(July 24, 2023, 10:44 am)We just returned from a lovely and relaxing weekend at Cherry Valley Manor. We stayed in the Sleeping Beauty room.
Our overall experience was wonderful. Our room was spacious and cozy. It featured a very comfortable bed and immaculate bathroom. The best part was the private deck and hot tub.
The breakfasts were delicious 3 course feasts, with fresh fruit, savory omelets and a sweet treat. A wonderful way to start the day.
The property is beautiful. Very well maintained gardens and a sparkling swimming pool. Perfect on a hot summer day.
The best thing about the weekend though was the hospitality of the hosts. You can tell they really care about their guests. They have included so many thoughtful touches, like towels at the pool and outdoor shoes for us to use on our private deck. It was my husband’s birthday and they decorated our door with a banner and balloons. They also brought him a cupcake and sang happy birthday at breakfast. Stan was warm and has a great sense of humor. We loved his story about his first time in America and his big southern tour.
We highly recommend staying here for a romantic and relaxing retreat and can’t wait to return. -

(June 25, 2023, 8:36 pm)We felt like family as soon as we walked in the door. In a time when really great customer service is more the exception than the rule, Stan and Julia is on top of their game. Everything was perfect from the ambience to the food. The room had the best jacuzzi in a room that I had ever experienced and I have traveled extensively throughout the world. In fact, I have been to many of the resorts in the Pocono area and Cherry Valley Manor clearly surpasses them all in terms of the experience that is created. The atmosphere was quiet and serene, perfect for a mindfulness getaway. The breakfast the next morning was out of this world. We will definitely be coming back again. Kudos to Stan and Julia for a job well done.

(June 5, 2023, 11:29 pm)My wife and I stayed three nights at the Cherry Valley Manor and had such a nice time. Stan and Julia are amazing hosts and really made us feel at home in their home. Breakfast every morning was amazing and a great way to start the day. Breakfast on the patio was so nice and peaceful, which made it hard to get going for the day. The manor is in a great location, close to so many things to do in the Poconos. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a nice jacuzzi tub and shower. We had nice conversations with our hosts and were happy to learn their story about how they ended up running this business where they are. Just such nice people. I highly recommend staying here.

The manor is gorgeous and close to hiking and great food. We will definitely be back, and we’re spreading the word to all our family and friends. Thank you for hosting our perfect weekend getaway!
