The food simply melts in your mouth. The staff are fantastic. We have been coming here for probably a year and a half now.
A couple of weeks ago, we had the privilege of meeting the owner, Chef Reeky. He was walking around passing out free slices of watermelon to all of us dining in. We got to talking and he is just an absolute pleasure. Turns out, we actually grew up right around the corner from each other - small world!
We went last Sunday and I ordered the breakfast with the scrambled eggs, French toast and sausage. I have never had vegan scrambled eggs taste so good!
We will continue to drive from South Philly to the restaurant - until the South Philly location opens! (Who are we kidding, we will still make the treck to the original Cheesy Vegan from time to time! We'll alternate locations! -

(July 27, 2023, 6:19 pm)Really delicious food! Ordered the seitan cheesesteak, seitan wings with honey mustard, and a hoagie. Will definitely be stopping by next time I'm passing through the area again.

(May 7, 2023, 10:41 pm)We have been wanting to try this restaurant and really happy we finally did. This place is so good and has such a great variety of vegan options. I’m not a huge fan of the manufactured vegan foods but I found the “fake” meats pretty tasty. I got the “crab” cake sandwhich and really enjoyed it. The sweet potato fries were great! The crab is made with artichoke and the flavor and taste were definitely good. My husband got the pesto pizza which was excellent and my daughter got the pancake and bacon. This kid loves bacon and loved the substitute.
I seriously appreciated the wide range of options for folks who may want “bacon”
And other folks who just enjoy all plant based without a substitute “meat”. The flavors were great, I have found other vegan restaurants to have pretty bland food.
My daughter tried the ice cream and also loved it. The baked goods looked great. We’ll definitely be back! -

(September 11, 2022, 10:06 pm)The atmosphere was very upbeat and family friendly. The food was delicious! My daughters really enjoyed all of their meals! Our server, Christine, was very welcoming, pleasant, and helpful. She kindly answered all of our questions about the menu items and any possible cross-contamination of gluten.
