If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Great selection, great deals, and a wonderful owner. We spent most of our time chatting with her and her dog Libby. Brought home pictures, wooden frames, and coffee table books.
My husband and I love antiquing and came here during our honeymoon. There were so many fun, themed rooms to explore, full of treasures. Gwen is a delight - kind, generous, witty, and full of stories. Definitely one of the more memorable shops we have visited on the east coast. We hope to be back again!
Gwen's selection is fantastic and her prices are generous, but the best part was chatting with her after we checked out. My girlfriend and I were up from NYC on vacation and, on top of the dozen items we bought, we loved getting to know Gwen. I left with a beautiful piece of marble that I made into a side table for my apartment. We will return ASAP!
A must visit while in the area, not only for the vintage treasures that lie hidden in the shop, but for the hospitality offered by Gwen, the charming owner who has been there for over 30 years!! While she assures you this isn’t her home while you’re shopping, it sure feels like it thanks to her hospitality and warmth.
Prices are negotiable, but already fair. And there’s a wealth of books and household items you can discover just by walking around the shop.
Bonus, I enjoyed playing fetch with her dog while my wife rang up the plates she found. Looking forward to coming back when we come back to the area.
I visited last week and Gwen was a pleasure to talk to! A really cool place with lots to explore. I had fun going through the different rooms and finding treasures. I ended up with a wall clock, small framed fish print and a framed glass bird art - all for very reasonable prices. The wall clock in particular is such a nice addition to my living room and I love how it chimes on the hour!
