  The fact that you are treated like family at Chapey means the world, especially during the most difficult time in your life. They treat you with the utmost are compassion, professionalism and always go the extra mile to make you comfortable.

  Our family found the Funeral services of Chapey West Islip to be outstanding. When we lost Dad, they were comforting and very patient. The service, mass and burial were executed extremely well. They made it easy on my mom, and she made it a point to ask for Chapey West Islip when god called her. When my mother past 2 weeks ago, we made one phone call, they remembered our family from 11 years ago and provided the same if not better level of care. We had special circumstances bringing mom home over 500 miles from her home in Rochester and coordinated with the local ME and Funeral home there. We also had to do much of the work remotely and for families in this situation, I would say they excelled. I felt there prices were fair and market rate. I especially liked the perpetual tribute support, which allowed us to post tributes ahead of the local news papers. In this day and age of Covid, they offered a tasteful streaming option that allowed some of my siblings and cousins to attend remotely due to health issues. I would highly recommend them and suggest asking for John, April and Derek.

  My father very recently passed, the staff at chapeys are truly the most kind and heartwarming people you’ll ever meet, they make this awful process as easy as possible, this funeral home is genuinely amazing, thank you chapeys.

  My aunt passed away in August 2022 after a battle with terminal cancer and we chose Chapey & Sons for her arrangements because of their great reputation and central location for our family. From the very beginning, those at Chapey & Sons treated my aunt with the respect and dignity that the cancer had robbed from her. My family was treated with compassion and understanding and at no time did it feel as though this was just another transaction for them. They really listened to us and went out of their way to assist us in anyway they could. When it came to my aunt's arrangements they made it as simple as they could under the circumstances by taking care of all of the complicated logistics that need to be addressed when someone passes. From contacting Social Security to arranging for extra copies of the death certificate, they took care of everything. After months of suffering, Chapey & Sons helped my aunt find peace and brought comfort to my family.

  The most loving, kind, professional funeral home I have ever dealt with. The care from all of the staff and attention to every detail we needed was above & beyond. The home assigned us a designated person to be there for us throughout the entire time we were there. From personal stories about the family owned business to their love for everyone that enters. This has been the most peaceful experience ever. Our family is filled with peace & love and couldn’t have been at a better funeral home. Thank you for taking care of us with our every need and showing respect to our loved one who has passed.
