(July 30, 2019, 4:33 pm)1st: Champion Sailmakers Inc. is a 'classic' family owned & run sailmakers business IN businesss since 1835!!! They originated in Manhattan down on the Southstreet area. The last person left is 'Scott' the LONE owner & great-grandson of the original proprietor of this family business. His work is fantastic and always to the letter of what the buyer asks for.
This long family lineage of impeccable sailmakers(he DOES also do motor boat and sail boat canopies and covers) is a disappearing craft. If you need new or a repair on sails canopies and covers 'Champion Sailmakers, Inc is the foremost place to go. Tell him Mike 'the hat' sent you!
