(May 28, 2023, 4:42 pm)Chaffinch is a beautiful park with a cozy rolling grassy area perfect for picnics, reading, and enjoying the breeze coming off the water, as well as a marsh and rocks that are great for observing birds, shellfish, and passing boats.

(October 8, 2021, 7:44 pm)Nice little park with a secluded feeling. Parking for about 8 or 10 cars/trucks total. Open shellfishing with permit, as was posted on the sign. They have a few charcoal grill spots and a few picnic tables here and there. The pathways along and out to the water /rocks held tidal pools and the shore is covered in shells/shellfish. All in all it was peaceful with the breeze blowing and the seabirds calling out.
Nice out of the way find. -

(March 18, 2021, 1:52 pm)I'm a local family photographer, and I feel so lucky that this gorgeous park is so close to my home! It is tiny and secluded and just perfect for family photos. My clients feel like they've had a fun little outing (some people compare it to Maine) after a session here. Highly recommend!!!
