I love this place, they do their best and bring you to yours. They work with the kids that other public schools have given up on and ganged up on. I'm in my fifth year here, been there since 6th grade. You can always find someone who cares, they do not allow bullying. They work with your learning style because everyone learns in a different way and you will always be heard. The small school atmosphere gives a home feel in an education environment. I have been at my best at this school and I wouldn't want to go to any other high school. My brother had colleges fighting over him when he graduated from here. There are so many opportunities given to you. It is not a school for "bad kids", just like any other school some kids have behavioral issues and others have amazing behavior. It is a charter school that is looked down on for the simple fact that it is a charter school and has a few kids that got into a little trouble. I can assure you from the point of view from an actual student, it is a great school. All of the public schools that have high ratings treated me horribly, in my opinion, when I did nothing wrong.
Great School, Small class room sizes. Teachers who really engage with students have made such a difference in my daughter. A once fun loving student with great grades 1-5. Who got lost in the school system and shut down. We tried a different school then on line classes. Then we found this school. She is now thriving. Loves going to school loves her her teachers and is participating in different school activities. I never thought I would see like this again. Thanks to this amazing staff.
My Daughter needed a less populated student body then Pennsbury High School could have provided at their East and West Campuses. Thank goodness we were told about this gem! Yes the kids all have had some issues with either anxiety and panic disorders....or behavioral problems at some point but they are all great, high achieving young adults when given the right enviornment to flourish. I cannot say enough about how welcoming and accommodating as well as spot on for my daughter's needs. She will actually graduate a half a year early and the school has been helping us with college financial aid forms as well as college prep! ( academics were never her problem)
All 3 of my children attend this school and since day one I have been nothing but impressed. The teachers are amazing!!!! I am so glad i made the decision to take my children out of their previous school and put them at CSL. They are way better off!!!
unlike the previous review I actually (as of now) go to this school.Also unlike most schools, this is a school for kids with behavioral problems (ie it being an alternative charter school). also against popular belief this is in no way the "bad school" or the "stupid school". i mean, heck apparently we're one of the smartest schools in our area. and the worst it gets behavioral wise, is that some kids don't litsen to teachers Like a regular school. Plus as an added bonus the Teachers here actually CARE about the students and if anything are COMPLETELY underpaid. The amount of dedication and time they put in for the students us mind boggling. plus smaller class sizes have helped me and many other kids. Also, several other students have gone from this school to high end college's! ! .I can assure you that this is a completely awesome school!
