Center for Discovery - Fairfield

There are no words to describe the amazing care I received at Center for Discovery Congress Street. I have been in treatment before and this facility is like no other. It is a magical place. I wish everyone could have the opportunity to have care at a facility as caring, supportive, and creative with their interventions. I thought I was going to be in treatment for my ED a month or two. Nine months later, I learned more about myself than I even knew. They treated my eating disorder as well as trauma and other mental health conditions. It is hard to believe how one facility can have an absolutely wonderful director, therapists, dietitian, counselors, and nurses all in one place. This was one of the best experience’s of care I have ever received. My therapist was one of the most amazing and influential people I have ever met. I made lifelong friends in the milieu as well. Not only did this facility help treat my ED, but changed my life.

I have only been here a few days and this is my first time at a residential treatment center, but I am so glad it's at CFD - Congress. Everyone here has been caring and made me feel a part of the house. They have gone above and beyond to meet my needs and meet me where I'm at. It's already a very challenging and emotional time and they have shown me patience and kindness since I walked through the doors. I am beyond happy with my choice and have high hopes for recovery with this team of wonderful people.

CFD Congress is a magical house to heal in. I cannot say enough about everyone who works here: nurses, counselors, therapists, dietitian, program director… all gems and have been so supportive and helpful to my recovery. If you’re on edge like I was before I came just know— it’s worth it and you deserve a safe place to heal 💜

Congress house is absolutely Amazing!! Staff really care about their patients and work really hard to assure the safety and well being of all. I have been to so many treatment facilities and Congress has been by far the best one I’ve ever gone to- I wish I came here years ago.
