  CFD was honestly really great. The staff were so supportive and nice, I made so many friends that I still keep in touch with to this day, and the treatment team was very understanding and helpful (expect the doctor).

  This place really helped me with my recovery. Not only did they help with my physical health but also my mental health. I was provided with three forms of therapy such as group therapy(helped me grow closer with the other patients and feel like i wasn’t alone), family sessions (helped me work through issues with my family that my ED caused), and one on one therapy (helped me learn coping skills and realize my triggers). My therapist was Sarah. I absolutely loved her! she really supported me throughout my entire stay. she provided me with coping skills and how to stay healthy after discharge. I also loved all the councilors, especially Erin. She was super funny and was someone I could always go to to talk. The nurses were all loving and helpful. Caroline acted as a mother while we are away from ours. she was comforting and just being around her put a smile on my face. The diet techs made the kitchen feel safe. I was able to expand my list of foods I enjoyed. The dietician Miranda was very knowledgeable when it came to nutrition. I was able to work with her and went on food exposures to concur my fear foods. On Saturdays we went on outings which CFD payed for. This gave patients a chance to feel normal. We could go out and get ready. Examples were target, thrift store, park, and Dave & Busters. Another fun and different thing is mindful movement on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. This consisted of being outside in the back yard or walking to the bay as a group. On the other days we were provided a 20 minute walk after lunch. this acted as a distraction and helped with the guilt. Overall this place was very helpful. There were no strange or harsh rules. Pretty much all the staff were loving and I really would recommend this place for people who are ready to beat there ED. Don’t listen to the tik toks, insta posts, or other comments talking down on this place. Most of the comments talking down on this place were past patients who were issues and caused problems with other patients that caused staff to interfere. CFD Hamptons location is different and I will forever remember this place as something that was positive during a negative time in my life.

  Great staff, I am able to see family on a regular basis while focusing on recovery at the same time. Sarah, my therapist, is great. Great dietician. Food exposures help incorporate fear foods back into your life. Don’t listen to bad reviews from past patients, they’re just a little heartbroken right now.

  First off, if you're wondering, YOU GET TO KEEP YOUR PHONE HERE!!
  
  This was my second time in residential. I was dealing with serious self-harm issues and my eating disorder was out of control. I went there in June 2021, and though my first few nights I felt homesick and scared, I slowly felt more and more at home. The place is beautiful, and they let you individualize your treatment so it fits your exact needs!!
  I told the nurse at admissions (Letiticia, who was super nice!!) that I struggled with self-harm and that I hadn't told my mom. They trusted me to tell her myself, and my therapist (Marci) supported me through that.
  The staff were so nice, and compared to Walden Behavioral Care, this place is amazing.
  
  My parents were so surprised when I came home that I had changed so much. This place saved my life. If you're looking for eating disorder treatment, this is the place to go!!
