(August 1, 2023, 12:13 am)We missed our greyhound to Atlantic City and had to take NJ transit instead. The bathroom door of this bus was locked, inaccessible, of no use. After some complaints from fellow passengers we stopped, here, at this rest stop which pays tribute to the great Celia Cruz, an absolute surprise to me.
A man eating a whopper looked me In the eyes and said “rock and roll” to me but was gone when I left the bathroom, and then I puffed my girlfriends vape before getting back on the bus. -

(July 4, 2023, 12:19 pm)The janitors at this rest station do a good job of keeping this place clean. The food options here are limited but as long as you aren’t a picky eater, you should find something to eat. I feel really bad for the workers at the Nathan’s stand. No one seems to order anything from there and the workers look bored.
When you walk into the building they are playing Celia Cruz’s music but it is disrespectful to her how low the volume of the music is. They should be blasting that shiz!!! Her wall of fame is a nice touch but it doesn’t make sense that they put other random famous people up there with her.
There is one big problem I have with this rest stop, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars: the giant screen they have in the middle of the New Jersey hall of fame. It never seems to be working. My friend and I went up to it to fix it one day and we did. The employees were happy that we fixed it. The next day we came back and to our surprise, it was broken again. We went up to fix it and got yelled at by other employees for touching it. They said it wasn’t meant for us to touch which just doesn’t make sense to us because they made the screen an interactive touch screen! Anyways, they need to hire a new IT person at this rest stop. We did them a favor and fixed the screen for free. The IT person is getting paid to do nothing. -

Bathrooms are good and clean.
Burger King, Dunkin’ and market store options to get nice snacks.
