(February 17, 2022, 5:48 pm)I’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. It’s not much to look at from the outside or inside, it’s just really great food. Plenty of parking even when they’re crowded. Lots of great Italian and American deli choices. I’ve ordered ahead the few time I’ve eaten here. My order is always ready when I get there. The staff is very friendly, at times it feels like I’m back in New York. Today I got a meatball Parm grinder. Delicious sauce, seasoned meatballs, and great mozzarella. Very large for a grinder, for the second time I saved half for the next day which is out of character for me. I got my boss a roast beef with tomato and lettuce on a roll. She has eaten all over New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Her exact words were “Where did you get the sandwich from? It is the best roast beef I’ve ever eaten.” I’m thinking I need to try it the next time I order Cavallo‘s.
