Doug was an excellent teacher - patient (for a complete novice like me!), knowledgeable and clearly knew the area well. A great way to experience the beauty of the Catskills, to get outside and learn something new. Highly recommend!!

(May 29, 2022, 7:15 pm)Walked in and was immediately made to feel welcomed. Many fly fishing outfitters in NY state can be cold and hesitant of outsiders. Not this store, guy at the front desk took a separate box of flys that were known to winners for that week and made some solid recommendations. With his advice and recommended flys we took off and got plenty of bites and nibbles. People who regularly fly fish know that nibbles are sign of a successful trip.
Highly recommend stopping by and asking what’s good! Thank you!
