  Cate from Cate Sew Modern is a live YouTube video! She is a walking encyclopedia of anything and everything related to sewing and art! Until I met Cate I spent countless hours doing my own research when all I wanted to do was troubleshoot and sew. With Cate I’ve learned so much in a short amount of time which greatly improved my sewing experience and enjoyment. Cate also has a great eye for colors and picking out fabric. She is also amazingly great at thinking outside the box and suggesting alternatives and or valuable shortcuts. I’ve purchased beautiful fabric at Cate Sew Modern as well as used her long-arm services for quilting. I’m very happy with everything! She makes me feel like I’m part of a wonderful community of sewing enthusiasts!!

  Fabulous shop! Lots cool fabrics. Everyone including the ladies taking a class were super friendly.

  Warm, welcoming. Great Covid 19 protocols in place for safe shopping. So many quality fabrics and unique designs. Good value for money. Highly recommend Cate's for beginners and professionals.

  What a local gem for any sewist, quilter or crafter! The selection and quality of the fabrics was very impressive. Cate takes great care and pride in stocking artisanal, unique fabrics, and supplies, and is very helpful and knowledgable. She is also an amazing lady and interesting lady! I am so glad I stopped in, and will be visiting very regularly!
