(April 4, 2023, 1:00 pm)Care One Wayne is one of the best skilled nursing homes in the area. My grandma became ill and was hospitalized, we were recommended Care One at the hospital for rehab. My grandma was very scared, due to the short staffing issues we have heard about at all nursing homes. When she arrived she was greeted by Nurse Victor (who looks more like a line backer than a nurse.) Nurse Victor greeted my grandma with the biggest smile and immediately broke the ice with a funny nursing home joke. He was very professional and explained the process to us step by step. My grandma called him a big teddy bear, but later became a little upset when she was told he will not be her everyday regular nurse. Most of the other nurses were professional, but way too serious and were in and out of the room. The Rehab team was phenomenal, especially Hazel who always has a smile on her face. My grandma was very happy with the care received at care one, and she would come back again if she had to. Thank you Care One Wayne! Keep up the good work.

(January 23, 2023, 7:45 pm)I compliment the staff especially the DON and the Dir of Activities who make sure that my Mother-in-law Caroline who is 108 is taken care of well and the daily activities are well organized to keep her and the rest of the patients active. Big thanks to the Dir of Activities who did an amazing job collaborating Caroline’s 108th birthday! Thank you to the Dir of Nursing who came on her day off to make sure that Caroline did well at her party.
I can only say that they have a good team from the Administrator, Directors and Aides who show their dedication in caring for the patients. -

(July 30, 2022, 10:47 am)Where do I start when it comes to CARE ONE AT WAYNE. My mom was there for 3 months almost. They are our NEW found family! My family LOVES them so much for being apart of my mothers healing process. When my first came to the facility, she did not want to be there. Eventually, overcame that with the help of EVERYONE at care one. They were SO Attentive, Supportive, Kind, willing to help, Professional, and emotionally there too. When my sister and I couldn't be there, they made sure to let her know she wasn't alone and we appreciate them so much!! We love you care one!
