  My elderly parents had a major fire at their house and the people at CareOne in Livingston Assisted Living turned handsprings in order to take them in the next morning, including providing basic furnishings that don't usually come with a room. Our experiences have continued to be excellent. The staff are caring and kind, the building is attractive and smells good, the food is tasty and nutritious and the chef worked with me when my step-father was having problems with eating. Later the staff helped create a calm and peaceful atmosphere as he slipped out of this world. My mother's only complaint is that they serve her too much good food, and she is much happier at CareOne than she was during her last several months at her house. My own life is much more manageable now than when I was working so hard to keep my parents in their house. Highly recommended.

  My 91-year old mother has been at CareOne at Livingston Assisted Living Harmony Village (for memory care residents) for approximately 15 months. I can't say enough about the care that she has received. First, the facilities are clean, modern, and well-kept. Her room always is tidy (and smells good!). The food is well above average. The ratio of staff to patients is favorably low. All of the aides who have worked with my mother have been professional, kind, caring and well-trained. We literally have never had a problem with any aide, which I understand is a frequent occurrence in other assisted living residences. The administrative staff does a great job as well. During the COVID crisis, CareOne has been quick to react - keeping families regularly advised as to status and policy changes, restricting visitation but making phone calls and Facetime/Zoom visits regularly available. They test their staff and residents regularly and quickly advise the families of any notable results. As a result of their diligence, the COVID infection rate there has been remarkably low - this is, of course, appreciated by all the families. The staff has also been very helpful when it came to administrative tasks (applying for VA benefits, for instance), and we have appreciated that very much. As a whole, we are extremely happy with this assisted living/memory care, and highly recommend it.

  Our elderly mother has been at CareOne Assisted Living, Harmony Village section, for over a year now. We are very grateful for the excellent care she has and continues to receive. The staff understand her very challenging situation and have kept her safe, healthy, engaged in activities, and happy with meals. Her room is always nicely cleaned. Due to their extremely careful Covid19 practices, our mother never contracted it, even though the town was a hot spot. Although we can't visit in person, the recreation staff are wonderful in setting up video visits. After an extensive search, I am so glad we decided on this place for our mother. The facility is beautiful and the people that work in it are truly angels.
