The Alaskan photo tour was the trip of a lifetime! Not only was the scenery spectacular and the weather perfect but the animals came out in great numbers to be photographed! Dan and Ascen were incredible teachers, patient and helpful in every regard. The tour included photographers of varied experience and we were all given appropriate attention to help us capture incredible images. I would highly recommend "Capture the Atlas" for your next photography expedition!
Prince and David were excellent instructors throughout the inaugural Faroe Islands tour with Capture the Atlas. The trip was well organized with in-depth details provided both in the months leading up to and during the tour. It was such a relief to just show up to our hotel lobby with my photography gear packed, knowing the day ahead would be filled with amazing sites and great instructions for compositions. I look forward to future adventure with these guides and this company!
I visited Patagonia in April 2023 and it was an amazing experience with Capture the Atlas team! We got to explore the Argentina side and spend a few days hiking in El Chalten and then we drove to Torres del Paine National Park to see the Chilean side of Patagonia. This truly turned out to be one of the most amazing trips that I have done that included everything from beautiful hikes to groundbreaking and amazing landscape photography where we got to experience the windswept landscape that Patagonia is known for. If you want to go to Patagonia and see the rugged landscape and capture the beauty of it, then you should definitely book a trip with Capture the Atlas. Prince, David, and Dan were just amazing and you will have a fantastic time! The pictures below are some of the highlights!
This was my first much anticipated workshop at beautiful a monument Valley with Dan Zafra and Capture the Atlas (CTA) and it did not fail my expectation. Dan runs the workshop like a well-oiled machine along this time with his co-leader Daniel Gomez. Both Dan and Daniel have been exceptional in helping throughout the workshop and never hesitated to share their knowledge in daytime landscape and astrophotography. I have learned immensely and I will definitely be doing another CTA workshop very soon. There were many repeat attendees in my recently concluded Monument Valley workshop which goes to show what a good thing CTA is offering in their many workshops around the globe. Until our paths cross I wish everyone clear skies.
Recently finished a wonderful tour of the Dolomites with Dan and David. The tour was well organized with constant attention to making sure we were at the right place at the right time for the best photos. Accommodations were comfortable, clean and well suited for a tour like this. The highlight of the week was obviously the amazing scenery. The planned photo opportunities were varied between mountain vistas, beautiful valleys, lakes, and nighttime milky way shoots. Throughout the trip, Dan and David provided excellent tips and instruction for getting the best photos of the subjects. This was my second tour with Capture the Atlas, and both have been amazing experiences.
