  Wow! Saw a stunning sunset. Beautiful, unobstructed, calm nature. Feels like you’re on a getaway.
  Highly recommended for your next sunset outing!
  There are bathrooms as well!

  A beautiful place for fishing, views, sunsets, photos and walking. Two great kayak launches and free boat launch (after paying $8 to enter the park ) Large and long piers to fish from or get on one of the many large party/charter boats! Nice snack bar, restaurant and bar.
  Also is the starting point or the endpoint of the 25 mile Ocean Parkway Greenway Trail!

  Great playground steps away from the bay. If you like to fish or go crabbing this is the place to be. Parking lot is large and close by. Nice place for a sunset.

  Another park with a good view of the sunset. There is a scenic outlook here that gives a good view of the fire island inlet. That parking lot is the right place to view the fire island lighthouse. Park is free to visit during the off-season, and I feel the best time to visit is winter spring and fall. I have seen people fly kites while park in nearly empty during the winter.

  It's absolutely gorgeous, especially in the sunset. I saw a lot of people fishing so I guess that is a thing in the area. Also there was a restaurant with a live gig, big parking lot and a playground for kids. Came late September so overall experience is probably different than in the summer - but was intrigued enough to make it part of my summer list next year.
