  Lovely stay, renovations were perfect. The vibe was relaxed. The pool was very nice. Great food at Casa Susanna. Location is nice with many restaurants and hikes nearby.

  What a special hotel! My fiance and I stayed here with our family over July 4th and again a month later right after our wedding. Both stays were awesome -- the rooms were beautifully designed, well appointed, and the beds were so comfortable! And Casa Susanna is phenomenal. Friends of ours in town from LA were raving that it was some of the best Mexican food they'd EVER HAD (high praise from Angelenos) and we knew we needed to try it. Our family had a post-wedding brunch and our friends did not disappoint -- the meal was spectacular. The tetelas, mushroom sopes, and breakfast tacos were particular highlights. We also enjoyed the bonfires at night and the friendly, helpful staff (Jamie and Alex were particularly wonderful!). We can't wait to come back when the pool is finally open!

  My wife and I just spent our anniversary weekend at Camptown, and I honestly rushed to my computer this morning to write this review. Camptown is an absolute gem. We stayed in one of the standard cabins with a fireplace, and we absolutely loved our time there. The cabins are incredibly clean, and the owners really have thought of every possible detail. It is a spectacularly well run and well designed property. I also want to offer a massive shout out to Alex and Henry at the front desk. We had a small issue that was totally out of the hotel's hands that caused us to temporarily switch cabins, and the way they handled the scenario with incredible kindness and graciousness absolutely blew me away. I've stayed at 5-star resorts at triple the cost where the service and hospitality of the staff wasn't even half as good as it was this weekend at Camptown. Everyone we encountered was really fantastic, but Alex really went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary weekend felt special. My wife and I also had dinner at Casa Susanna our first night on property, and really quite enjoyed our meal. The food was fantastic, and the server was beyond wonderful and attentive. Camptown is an absolute home run. Everyone working on this property genuinely deserves immense success, as I feel it's rare these days to find this level of cleanliness, thoughtfulness and attention to detail, and wonderfully gracious hospitality. We cannot wait to go back.

  Can’t say enough good things about this spot. The staff is lovely. You can sense the attention to detail in every aspect of the stay, including the food at Casa Susanna. They cut zero corners and make you feel like a valued and respected guest. Never change - and thank you so much for making our weekend special.

  I was surprised with a weekend at Camptown to celebrate my birthday and it was such a special, luxurious, and beautiful hotel. We stayed in a cabin that had 2 rooms outfitted with queen sized beds, that had linen duvets (literally better quality than what I have at home), a beautiful and spacious bathroom, a lovely common room with a fireplace and the cutest kitchenette. I was so impressed with the finishes in the cabin and across the property. They didn’t skimp on design and they had beautiful refurbished vintage furniture that made it feel unique and expensive.
  In all we had a group of 4 adults and 2 dogs and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and welcoming space.
  We ate dinner at Casa Susanna and I have no complaints. Every bite was delectable and truly a fantastic representation of traditional and elevated Mexican fare.
  Wanted to shout out Jaime who helped make the reservation for this weekend. She was so accommodating and even offered to take us to our cabin in a golf cart to avoid the rain! Already making plans to book this summer.
