  Recently I was looking to buy a home in the Callicoon area. I found a place that I was interested in a few miles away. I got in contact with Rosie DeCristofaro, the listing agent and WOW was I glad I did. I have purchased homes in the past with an agent and they always seemed to be just part of the transaction. Rosie is quite different.
  First of all she is as sweet as can be. But at the same time she does not sugar coat any problems the property might have. She will be the first to point out what problems one might find. The big difference is she will tell you who can fix it and where to call. Simple as that.
  I have never had an experience purchasing a home that was as easy, honest and pleasant as the one I had with Rosie.
  Rosie is knowledgeable, kind, straightforward and an absolute joy to work with.
  She is the kind of person that after you do business with, you want to run across the street when you see her in town and give her a big hug.

  Rosie is the best! She skillfully guided us through the all the twists and turns of the home-buying process, and most importantly, helped keep our purchase moving forward at all times, working with attorneys, bank officers, land surveyors, etc., to make sure deadlines were met and requirements fulfilled. Her advice about the house, the property and the surrounding area was invaluable, and she even took us around to meet some of our new neighbors. She's a gracious, friendly person, always there when you need her, an excellent business woman, with a good-natured and welcoming sense of community. Can't recommend her enough!
