Dr. Callahan is the best. She is not only a fantastic psychopharmacologist, but also a kind and compassionate human being. She got me better after I had gone to multiple other psychopharms with less than optimal results. I was finally diagnosed correctly and started on a medication regimen that has kept me well for over seven years. She is confident but never arrogant like some of the other psychiatrists I’ve seen. She is organized in her approach, and clearly explains why she is starting or changing a medication which always relieves any anxiety. She is very available; if something goes wrong (which is rare) I can text her and she’ll get right back. She keeps a low profile, so I’m told, and may have a waiting list. But I recommend waiting, you won’t regret it!
