  First things first, my family had needed 20 seats and we got them. Felipe was our head server he and the gentleman who assisted him if I could give them 10 stars I would. If you're in the area and you're hungry stop in and make sure to ask for Felipe by name. You won't regret it. If you're a fan of onion rings well here's a good look at them TASTY!

  Amazing experience at this dinner the server santos did a amazing job and treated us like it was a 10 star steak house this will now be my go to diner on longisland they keep it very clean the food was top tier Thank you so much for the pleasant experience I recommend this restaurant to everyone

  I'm honestly not sure why it's called a California Diner, but hey, it's a diner in Victoria. As a Californian, I've come to expect that any food or restaurant that contains the word "California" it means they just put avocado on it. That's not the case here. Fairly typical diner fare, but with a few twists that make it unique.
  
  I had the chicken and waffles, because that's apparently what California means. The chicken was good, the waffle perfect, and it was topped with Canadian maple syrup with a touch of jalapeno (thus the unique part). That made all the difference in the world.
  
  Our waiter was exceptionally friendly and helpful, with a lot of local attractions to recommend. Prices were fairly low for Victory, diner was clean, and the food was good.
  
  Still not sure why it's called a California Diner, though

  Some of the best corned beef hash I’ve ever had. Clean (mostly) plate speaks for itself. Very friendly staff.

  It was an amazing stop on the way home from an exciting day. Traditional diner with all the amazing flavors you could want. Super friendly staff are always happy to greet you and help you figure out what you want. Even when they are super busy, you will be seated quickly . We stopped and went with a Greek diner, and at the end of the day, we had way too much food to eat in one sitting. You always get a great amount of food and will be satisfied.
