I just moved to New Haven from Uptown Manhattan and was looking for a last minute, Minecraft theme, Dominican style cake (yes, it’s a whole style lol). Anyway, I was googling nearby bakeries and none new what I was talking about. I reached out to the contact on this link in hope that though she didn’t have a shop I could visit, could help me with my last minute cake need for my son’s out of the blue bday party that we weren’t going to have due to Covid.
Not only did Angela respond promptly by answering the phone herself, she was working on another cake project and adhered to my very time conflicting request (it was 11am and I needed the cake for 4pm). I said I’d take any cake she already has made and she told me that she makes her cakes to order, and has a couple of pics up on her google. She asked me to send a picture of the theme, weight of the cake and gave me two filling options; dulce de leche and pineapple. At this point I’m like “wait, I have options?!”
I picked my son’s cake from her 3 hrs later. It was lit, to say the absolute least. The flavor was unmatched, I picked dulce de leche but I’m sure the pineapple would have been bomb too! I also can’t leave out the fact that she threw in some super tasty dessert fruit cups for free!
Thanks to Angela, my son gets bragging rights as the cake was super cool looking and spot on with his Minecraft theme! Thank you so much!!! I highly recommend her service to annnnybody who needs tasty, dope cake, FAST! Lol -
