Dr. Jerry Roth has been the captain of this flagship for over 10 years that I am aware of. He has been the primary care physician of a loved one of mine who has gone on quite a journey of managing care. He initially took them on under Medicaid when many doctors would not. He has merged fully into the Jefferson/Abington Hospital system, where he used to make rounds. Now the practice has more than one doctor on staff, it would seem. They are readily accessible and quick to make appointments with. I think that Dr. Roth takes a seasoned holistic approach of what is going on with someone and tries to spread out and manage a care plan.
Dr. Brecher has been my physician for close to 25 years and always has taken exceptional care of me., returning phone calls and discussing my concerns at length. I am sorry he is retiring.
