My 3 friends and I went on a Bucket List Tour to NYC. They treated me for my birthday and it was new to all of us, as we like fun things to do, and having new experiences. We all live in Long Island but had never been on a double decker bus tour of the city nor a tour cruise around the Statue of Liberty! So fun! Then we all ate a fabulous lunch and the entire bus sang Happy Birthday to ME in the Italian restaurant and on the bus ride home! We have gone out since with the new friends that we’ve made that day and look forward to going to another bus trip with our excellent host Patricia!
BucketList tours is one of the best daycation tours out there! I did a tour of Manhattan uptown and downtown and then we took a cruise it was amazing Patricia Balestros the hostess is gracious entertaining and makes sure that you have fun fun fun. I love how much you learn on the tour. I love that everything's pre planned you have fun games, food and wine and all kinds of great things going on. It's just a great day away - it's so good for family gatherings, corporate gatherings or if you just want a day away/out. I would definitely do another tour. 5 Stars!
Went on a tour to wine country with my wife with Bucket List Tours NY. Even the ride was fun: trivia, cheese, refreshments. And a fun group, including two birthdays. Plus music and engaging tour guide. Some singing. Enjoyed the stops. Pindar Vineyards was a high point, including a tour by a "sommelier" (wine expert) of production. Lots of barrels. And then wine tasting inside - where we met members of the family who run the vineyard. Nice, light lunch at Duckwalk, also owned by same family. And enjoyed the outdoors. Vineyards in April are picturesque with rows of vines. Rafael vineyards has a beautiful building - Italian style with pantiles - and good music. We've been to and enjoyed Rafael before, but this was different. There were crimson tableclothes on our tables - and wine and cheese to taste. Plus some chocolate. Things wound down with Love Lane, an area with shops. My wife drinks wine more than I do, but I got a good sampling of types and tastes. The people and tour guide are an important part of the experience. It's a fun way to spend a weekend. Even the ride is part of the experience, not just transportation. We had good weather, which is probably key. Warmer weather would be even better. But the vineyards weren't that crowded, which may have worked to our advantage as well. This is truly tourism. For someone who lives on Long Island, it's worthwhile. Might be even better if you're coming to Long Island. Good, solid, well organized tour. Attention to detail. Memorable, fun. A little cool in the Pindar winery area where they make wine. But things warmed up when the wine tasting began.
My boyfriend and I did a north fork winery tour with Patricia after she came highly recommended from my parents who did her Dyker Heights tour around Christmastime. I’m so happy we did!! We had the best time!! Patricia is an amazing host. She kept us so entertained the whole bus ride and in between stops. The tour included a private tour in the barrel room of a winery, followed by a private tasting of FIVE of their best wines! We then went to the second winery, where she provided us with a delicious, filling lunch, a glass of Riesling, and another FOUR tastings!! We then stopped at a final winery, which was beautiful, and again had another private tasting of FOUR more wines with cheeses! We then made our way to Love Lane where we had a private tasting of at least a dozen (definitely more) cheeses from around the world, and also received free carnations from the florist. On the bus she provided wine and games and it was an amazing time. I absolutely can’t wait to take another tour with Bucket List tours and I can’t recommend them enough!!
