(May 15, 2023, 9:22 am)We very much enjoyed our quiet, serene stay -- lovely hosts, delicious homemade baked goods (mine were specifically made gluten-free, thank you!), and we can't wait to come back. Spacious, clean, with great attention to detail, in a beautiful location.

Caroline was very communicative and was great at providing recommendations for things to do in the area, as well as local restaurants. She filled our fridge with lots of goodies for breakfast, the banana bread was definitely a highlight. The room was very well appointed and the bed and couch were incredibly comfortable. We also loved having a chance to walk around the farm and meet the cows and chickens. The highland cows were great! We got a lot of great pictures of them. We will stay here again the next time we are taking a hiking trip to the Shawangunk area!

(August 12, 2022, 3:28 pm)My husband and I just spent a long weekend at this hidden gem of a B&B and stayed in the Highlander Suite. The suite was immaculate, tastefully decorated and fabulously private. The fridge was stocked with farm fresh eggs, milk, baked goods and more. We were so impressed with the thoughtfulness of our hosts and the care they put into creating a warm, cozy and elegant retreat. A spacious private deck off the bedroom (with a king sized bed that is so comfortable - just where did those sheets come from?!) provided us with bird's eye view of their chicken coop (not just your ordinary chickens, either) and from the front windows we gazed out upon the pasture and ... Scottish Highland cattle! Ulysses and Cara are just adorable and Caroline gave us treats to feed them! We took advantage of the pool (large and clean), the beautiful sitting area on its deck which is under grape vines, the winding trail that leads down to a pond with another sitting area and enjoyed the peaceful, serene beauty of the property. Absolutely divine. Caroline and Michael Murphy are the perfect hosts and we look forward to returning many more times!

(April 25, 2022, 1:17 pm)The Highland Suite was absolutely lovely. I have stayed at a lot of B&B's, and this was one of my favorites. The accommodations were spotless, spacious and comfortable. The delicious breakfast was left in our room for us to enjoy any time we wanted. Just a short drive to New Paltz and their rates were very reasonable for such wonderful accommodations. And the cows were an extra special treat. I have already recommended Brookfield B&B to friends that are looking for a private retreat.

(April 18, 2022, 3:15 pm)Would like to start off by saying Caroline and Michael were so inviting. They gave us a warm socially distanced welcome lol. I chose Brookfield Farm to celebrate my 20 year anniversary and so happy I did. The suite was so nice and comfortable. From the lovely living room area to the kitchenette. They provided us with breakfast. From milk and juice to fresh fruits and eggs from the resident chickens. The place has such a rustic feel with the lovely finishes. There's a walkout deck where you can relax and take in all nature has to offer. We had such a great time. The farm is a short drive to the local wineries. Lastly, I have to talk about the beautiful cows. Nothing like I ever experienced and I will surely never forget. We are definitely going to be planning another stay at Brookfield and totally recommend others to do the same.
