  My husband and I wanted to check out Beacon NY and decided to stay overnight. I was looking for some place special. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We both slept great and my husband enjoyed the front porch to sit, relax and read while I slept in. The inn was beautiful and everyone was so nice. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic.

  My husband and I stayed two nights in the Jefferson Room at this lovely inn. From the location on the hill at the intersection of Routes 82 & 52, you could really get a feel for the historical significance of the property. The owner (Bob) has put so much into the renovations, it shows everywhere, solidly built, no creaky floors or paper thin walls.The tasteful quality of the furniture, bedding, curtains, wallpaper and artwork is impeccable. A deep soaking tub was a treat - good breakfast and friendly conversation made this part of our visit to Fishkill a memorable experience.

  Our first time at the Brinckerhoff Inn was truly wonderful. We were warmly welcomed by Bob and Stacy, and made to feel right at home. The house itself is amazing and all the renovations are spot-on authentic. Breakfast both days was delicious and Bob happily accommodated our dietary needs.
  
  Our room was very comfortable and, unlike some renovated older homes, the shower worked well!
  
  Fishkill and the local area has lots to do, and we look forward to returning.

  My husband & I were looking for a unique & memorable place to stay while visiting friends in upstate & this inn was that & more. Beautiful rooms, claw foot tubs, delish breakfast that included & very cozy. Bob runs the inn & made himself personally available to us & made us feel most comfortable. We stay in the Lafayette room where Marquis de Lafayette stayed himself for 4 months! If you love history & beautiful spaces you’ll love this place.

  An amazingly restored house from 1718, before the Revolutiobay War!
  Bob the owner /in keeper is an amazing person, friendly, down-to-earth, goes out of his way to please, and filled with vitality !
  The house is welcoming.
  The rooms are comfortable, quiet, authentically decorated.
  The bathrooms are luxurious, ours included a very large, deep claw foot tub.
  This place is worth every dollar, there are no comparison. It is situated on beautiful grounds in the lovely little friendly town of Fishkill , filled with great restaurants.
  This place is a perfect getaway. Tell Bob I sent you. .
