(August 20, 2023, 12:24 pm)Taking lessons from Brighton Beach Surf Shop really made my vacation! I loved learning from Eric. After my first lesson other people from my family wanted to take lessons too, and BBSS easily accommodated us. I ended up renting a board and wetsuit for the week at a really reasonable price and surfed every day I could thanks to BBSS!

Always top notch - whether surfboard repair or getting you sorted out with a rental SUP - they do it all. Nothing ever feels like a pressure sale. I look forward to coming here for years in the future too.

Try something new take a SUP out or take a surf lesson! You will enjoy his company and staff when you are in the water~!

(June 7, 2017, 4:43 pm)Mike is a local a great person to get the surfing scoop from. His Dad Richard is in the Surfing Hall of Fame. He may be sitting on the front porch of the shop! Mike has helped with surf boards, kites, clothing, wetsuits and more. He is very nice and patient when listening to your questions and concerns on learning to surf and buying gear. He is such an access to our neighborhood in BHC. He has a nice selection of clothing, beach supplies, lotions and such, toys, surf and SUP gear, wetsuits and C-A-N-D-Y. ( I spelled this so my kids didn't know what we were going up there for when they were kids :) Great place to shop and support year round!
