(August 11, 2023, 7:31 pm)Went early this morning to good ol BB rec. The Philly bus was there, doing the bookbag handouts. The line was not too bad though. It moved fast. God was with me.. I made the line right before ALL the many campers got there.!!! 😵💫🤓😯 Anyway, I got 3 nice bookbags, filled with nice supplies. Some additional hand outs too, were on the tables. Hand held fans, lip balm balls, pens, & even condoms...👁👁😲🤓 See attached pics... Ty Philly bus team....📚📙🪈🖍

(March 29, 2023, 5:10 am)Really nice well kept park also has a kids playground on other side as well as a basketball court a nice one to and a tennis courts and finally a swimming pool just built 2 years ago I belive. And the park itself has 2 baseball diamond well kept i mite add and the park great for a stoll or of course bring the family pet. I try to drive over there atleast once a week with my pooch Coda and we have a good time people are very nice there stop by its really a decent place in the city to escape

(September 7, 2021, 4:49 pm)This is a great spot in the community. The rec center offers a lot of different youth programs. The park itself is rather large. Great place to walk or jog for exercise. There's a basketball court, tennis court and baseball/soccer field. They even have a playground and in the summer there is a community pool. You have to check out the lovely mural on the pool wall! The playground is basic and for the most part clean. I feel it could use some newer improvements but that an issue with the city. I know caring neighbors try really hard to keep the park clean as well, but some people just like being dirty and not taking there trash with them. I do feel the fields have been over grown lately especially around the All Wars memorial. Other then that it's a great spot to hang. Just remember to clean up after yourself and your dogs!
