I have been dealing with depression since I was younger than 13. I have been in and out of therapy and on and off medications since. I have been going to Chris for around the last four years. I can honestly say he has helped save my life. I have never been in such an amazing spot in my life mentally then I am right now. He has always listened to me and I have always felt so comfortable talking to him. I have read the other reviews here and I wanted to leave my review because just because of a few bad experiences I don’t want anyone to possibly pass going to Chris just because of it. I understand that some people at the front desk are rude and don’t care, not Agnes because she is the sweetest person you will ever talk to in your life. Don’t let a phone call with the front let you loose a chance to finally feel better in your life! Never in my life did I think I would get anywhere near the way I feel right now but I FEEL AMAZING! Thank you Chris for making me be able to finally get the weight of depression and anxiety off my shoulders! You are the best!
Dr Rajput is the most patient and thoughtful psychiatrist I have seen. He genuinely cares about his patients and takes an interest in making sure they are doing well. I would not be stable if it were not for him. I’ve suffered from debilitating treatment resistant depression and he took his time to make sure each medication worked, and if it didn’t help, he helped me taper and change the dose and medication. Finally, TMS was suggested and helped me lift out of the fog A LOT.
The job of a psychiatrist is not the same as a psychotherapist. Therapists cannot prescribe and are paid only to listen to your issues for an hour while a psychiatrist is a doctor that listens but mainly prescribes medication to help you. It sounds like a lot of the people writing reviews don’t understand this and think he is not doing his job, and those people need to find themselves a therapist. I think they are judging him because of his accent, and looking for specific letters or medication, which when are not approved they go and write negative reviews.
His office staff is extremely busy and also takes the time to ask me how I’m doing. They have seen everything. I’ve witnessed them being cursed at, so many of these reviews about them have two sides- don’t forget that. They are all educated, professional, and polite. It’s pretty unbelievable how so many of these reviews don’t take many or any of these things into consideration.
