  Went here on the drive it's right after the boardwalk trail it's beautiful out her so much to see they have a place to park and a bench just sitting her listening to the sounds around it's amazing can't wait to come back found a new friend along the way

  The Visitor Center has friendly, knowledgeable volunteers and rangers onsite. They helped us pick which trails we wanted to hike and gave us a detailed map. They also have lists of birds and creatures sighted recently at the refuge. Their gift shop has a nice assortment of nature-themed gifts, including local, environmentally friendly coffee. This is where you pay the daily entrance fee. It's also only 1 of 2 places we saw with full restrooms at the refuge.

  One of my favorite place for bird photographs. There are various other wildlife as well. Only complaint is too many bugs there. So be prepared.

  The Bombay Hook National Bird refuge is a sprawling landscape where you can see so many different likes of wildlife up close and personal. Or you can bring binoculars and see wildlife that's in the trees or the little islands in the ponds/lakes. It is so peaceful. On beautiful days you can just hang out and listen to the birds sing and call.

  A beautiful national wildlife refuge that has one of the largest remaining expanses of tidal salt marsh in the mid-Atlantic region. It's located along the coast of Delaware, and includes freshwater wetlands and upland habitats. It is open all year
  1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset. They are almost done their new visitor center and it looks like it will be great.
