Chris, the manager, made us feel like longtime customers and friends, advising us on rods, line, lures and local fishing holes. He immediately bonded with the children and shared stories of his experience learning to fish at their age. We will continue shopping at Blue Water for a long time. Thanks Chris!

(May 11, 2020, 2:03 pm)I needed line for my rod, so I looked up a store to buy line and a rod for my uncles birthday and another for my mom on Mother’s Day. We talked to the store owner and he helped us get the best possible rods lines and lures for me and my family. The store owner also was not hesitant to answer the phone whenever we had a question no matter how many times a day we had questions.

(September 16, 2018, 3:29 pm)Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about local fishing. Ties the best flies and bucktails anywhere! Definitely stop in and see some custom hand tied lures you will not find anywhere else and prices are very reasonable. The bait sold at BWV is good enough to eat it is so fresh. For a small shop the selection cannot be beat and products are always being added. Hands down it's one of the best quality shops on the North Fork.

Full service rod and reel repair, he makes his own lures that are sold on site, and he sells most basic lures or frozen bait needed for the area. He also can usually order most other stuff you’d need (specific rod or reel, etc.). Overall a great local resource for East End fishing.
