  A truly elevated dining experience while still feeling comfortable and peaceful. Everything came out fresh, delicious, and sized properly for the price. Ryan, our server, was attentive and helpful all night. And the ambiance is perfect. They really did well with the interior here.
  
  The Caesar salad was unique with a nice zing to it. The French onion soup was rich and savory with onions that still had a little crunch to them! My main course was the crab-crusted mahi mahi with ricotta ravioli and sambuca cream sauce -- absolutely excellent. My wife got the Eggplant main dish and ate every bite. And I had to take a picture of my dad's meatloaf. I've never seen nor tasted meatloaf like that! I highly recommend the almond cookie cornucopia dessert. It was filled with a lemon mousse that kept the dessert from feeling too heavy or sweet. It also had a slight effervescence like sparkling wine or champagne, which was truly unique. We shall be back!

  Update: Valentine’s Day Review 2023
  Tonight I had the shrimp and crab special, and my fiancé had the eggplant. Both were delicious as always, and we left with lunch for the next day. This place just never disappoints me.
  
  I’ve eaten at this delicious restaurant twice in the past two weeks. The food, service, and ambiance of The Blue Shutters is so wonderful that I just booked my wedding there. Management at this restaurant is beyond helpful.
  We just had dinner in a party of seven, and not one critique or complaint; just raving reviews across the board, with flavorful meals, elegant presentation, and hearty portions. They even accommodated a special birthday request for our mother. Five stars!

  This was our first visit since the reopening. We love the renovations to this upscale historical restaurant! It is a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. We were there to celebrate our daughter's birthday. I tried a Moscow mule... perfect! We also liked the Hurricane Shutters from the creative drink menu. We enjoyed the chorizo and coconut shrimp appetizers. The dinner rolls with the roasted garlic butter were a hit! I had the hardwood grilled pork rib chops and they were amazing! They have a few unique vegetarian options worth checking out. We ordered four of the desserts to share. All of the desserts were large, impressive and delicious! We will certainly be back with friends!
