I have been ordering pellets from Blakeslee the last 4 seasons. Jason has been excellent to work with. He’s very honest and upfront when it comes to the quality of pellets he carries. We worked through a few options until we found the right one. His responsiveness is quick and efficient. When you want a delivery he will be there, sometimes within 24 hrs! That’s a strong quality for any company trying to keep up with demand in an uncertain economy. At the end of the day, keeping a customer happy in an otherwise challenging world is a quality I look for in a local business. Absolutely the best! Local and convenient. These guys have product year round. When lowes and Home depot pack their pellets away in February ( when they think that winter is over) Jason keeps pumping them out and because of that my fuel season starts and ends with Blakeslee pellets. Blakeslee Farm is simply wonderful. They are ALWAYS stocked, even during supply shortages and supply delivery delays the owner will help you find something that will work for you. They keep their prices so low that it's hard to imagine how they turn a profit. The owner cares more about his customers than making a dollar, he often delivers to the more remote locations in CT, late in the evening, while the rest of us are eating dinner or winding down our day. He makes deliveries where his profits don't even cover the cost of the trip because he cares about his customers. Great guy, great business, great farm, and it's all a part of our community, not a faceless corporation. If there's ever a problem, or you just want talk for a bit, the owner is right there and genuinely happy to see you. I cannot recommend Blakeslee Farm highly enough.
