(July 12, 2023, 2:37 pm)Visiting from the woods of Maine I was very surprised to find this gem. I only walked 2 miles of park( but was here 2 hours) there is plenty more to explore. Noone else around but plenty of birds. (My main purpose) Trails very well marked. Bridges, bogs, small trails, wide trails. Scenic bog spots and benches to rest on. Folks Im visiting have lived her over 50 years snd never heard of it!!! Come visit.

(June 19, 2023, 7:13 pm)Was looking for a new place to take my dogs- very clear with directions, everyone was friendly. There were signs telling you about the trails, and maps with QR codes. The bogs/scenery was beautiful. It’s serene, quiet, and a fantastic place to take your dogs (just watch for ticks!)

(June 18, 2023, 8:56 pm)Large natural preserve with various trails. A great deal of variety from water (smaller lakes and ponds) to hard-pack trails to sand or light stone pathways. Trails are on both sides of the street. Parking is on both sides as well. Trails are fairly well marked with benches in some locations. Would recommend using the QR code for the online maps.

(May 1, 2023, 10:33 am)Great trail options, nature and scenery. We first visited in the fall and it was stunning (pictures are from October/November). I recommend good walking shoes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty. There are some established concrete paths and wooden pieces but the best trails are dirt paths. If it’s been raining expect some muddy areas. We’ve seen deer a few times and many birds and hawks. Definitely my favorite park for hikes.
