So I made sure this wouldn’t happen again by scheduling a cab way ahead of time and booking a hotel so I can leave on the first bus to nyc in the morning.
Black bear was a god send!
Sherman was professional, punctual, and a joy to chat with. Prices are fair and it was easy to book online. I will only be booking this car service moving forward. -

(October 31, 2020, 9:07 am)I used to get to the train at the end of an AT section hike in bad weather. I tried to call to schedule a ride for later the same day but they seemed to want me to submit an online request instead, so I did. I never got an email confirmation and when I called a couple times at my pickup time they didn't pick up. Just as I was getting ready to walk into Port Jervis in the snow...they showed up after all! Thank you!
Minus two stars for the confusing reservation process and the driver not wearing a mask, plus a star for picking me up in a snowstorm.
