I absolutely love this place is the perfect spot to take your dogs for a walk, everyone is super friendly and MOST people are responsible with their dogs the only downfall is I have 2 little ones and some big dog owners don’t control them. Already have had a couple of incidents where I was able to act fast but not ideal. Please be mindful of that 🙏
This place is amazing! We try to bring our dogs at least once per week. The off leash park offers excellent exercise, and it's really so good for our mental health, too. There are a wide range of trail loops and lengths, with moderate hills. The trails are well-marked and well-kept.
Decided to come here today and do a loop trail. I started where the dog park was and did a complete circle and came across the old abandoned oil barge which was truly amazing. Somebody recently told me where it was and of course I got out and went and looked for it there are a lot of dogs that are off leashed her running around. Spirit different trails that you can go off from the main path which will lead you to the oil factory it is truly amazing and if you are into exploring old and banded places I would definitely recommend checking this place out I definitely give it a 5-star rating it's truly awesome.
Amazing park where dogs are allowed off leash! Open space and beautiful trails. If you take the blue /red trail it will lead you to the pond. There is also another trail near the pond that will bring you around a loop of the pond. Just be careful towards back of pond because it is very slippery and boards are missing in swampy area! Good waterproof hiking boots recommended!
Amazing park for hiking/walking. Dogs allowed off leash. Trail was well maintained as there was zero trash and no overgrowth on the main trail. I wish the trails were labeled better since this was my first time and I got a little lost getting to the pond from the dog park entrance but I was able to figure it out. Have Google take you to the Bristol dog park or directly to the West end of the pond as maps took me to a neighborhood with no parking or trail access. The pond was absolutely beautiful and I saw others fishing and kayaking while my dog jumped right on in. Definitely coming back.
