  Bill Bertsch's company replaced our roof and did an excellent job from start to finish. They worked fast, at the onset of winter, and got the roof on in a couple of days. Nice people, good at answering our questions, and responsive when we had a few other minor things that needed doing. Highly recommended.

  Bill and his team did a phenomenal job both painting the exterior of our house and building a new deck twice the size of the one we had. Bill was very responsive when we were getting quotes even while the building market was insane due to covid, and there were building supply shortages. He and his team were always on time, extremely professional, well-prepared, very skilled and left their surroundings exactly, if not better, than they found it. Very pleased with their work, and would use them again. Highly recommend.

  I engaged Bill Bertsch Construction to insulate the crawlspace of our newly purchased lake home and re-roof our garage. I was very impressed by Bill's work; it was completed quickly, no surprises, and the workmanship was excellent. With the successful outcome of those projects I knew I could trust Bill and his team to renovate a bedroom and build a new bathroom. As an engineer, my first concern is attention to detail - particularly when something comes up in the construction process that is unexpected and has potential life safety issues; we found out that the roof on the room being renovated was comprised. Bill informed me of the issues, provided options, and discussed the pros and cons of each. Bill resolved the issues quickly and performed all of the tasks that you would hope you could take for granted - replaced bad wood, installed new insulation, and mitigated the flashing issue that caused the problem in the first place. Bill also identified potential carbon monoxide concerns and mitigated those as well. He and his team finished out the project on time and on budget. His workmanship was outstanding. As someone who builds cabinets and works on full scale aircraft periodically on the side, I know good workmanship when I see it. My wife and I are planning more projects in the future and now, with this experience behind us, one problem we don't have to worry about again is who is going to do the work and do they care about the work they do on our home. Bill Bertsch is my choice - period - full stop. Charles Day
