(July 9, 2023, 9:25 am)Great little reservoir where young kids can learn how to fish. It's always stocked with trout, so you are guaranteed to reel something in! They also sponsor a fun fishing derbies in the summer where kids can win prizes.

(June 20, 2023, 8:58 am)Berkshire Trout Hatchery is an awesome place. All the staff are super nice and willing to answer any questions you might have. Their extensive knowledge in this field is great for teaching both young and old about how hatcheries like this one operate and why they are important. Our BSA troop camped there for a weekend and it was a great time.

(September 27, 2022, 7:38 pm)Timing is everything as they were milking the eggs out of the female lake trout and fertilizing them. Nice, quiet place to walk around and peek into the fish igloos.

(March 3, 2017, 8:43 pm)Fun place to visit to see trout being raised. 20 minutes is sufficient to see everything including the little exhibition inside.
The big surprise is a couple of excellent hiking trails on the premises. The trail head is right by the parking lot and the trails are decently marked. Our dog loves it there!
